Chemical Peels

Do you desire smoother skin with fewer fine lines and wrinkles?  Or perhaps would like to lighten your hyper-pigmentation, scars, age or sun spots?  Have you been battling with acne?  If you answered yes to any of the previous questions, the answer to your problem(s) may be a series of Chemical Peels. Chemical Peels can improve your skin’s overall appearance.  In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes its outermost layers of the skin peel off.  The new skin will be smoother, with a more even skin tone, giving it a youthful glow.  It is also excellent for treating acne.

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure which is done with a sterile surgical scalpel to gently "shave" the skin's surface.  This removes the top-most layer of dead skin, along with fine vellus hair (aka peach fuzz), that can trap dirt and oils.  Dermaplaning is done to promote deeper product penetration, boosting the effects of skin care products, while making the skin look and feel smoother, also reducing the appearance of acne scars.  This procedure is often followed by a light chemical peel.

A facial will cleanse the skin and pores on a much deeper level, similar to what a good dental cleaning will do for the teeth.  Even non-acneic skin can use a regular deep cleansing.  Facials also aid in detoxification and involve some massage, which promotes blood circulation and lymphatic drainage.  A facial massage can relax facial muscles, which can slow the onset of wrinkles.  Reduced puffiness and sagging to the face, and skin cell renewal are additional benefits of these massage techniques.  This procedure can also be applied to your back.

Facial Waxing

Waxing is a hair removal method that removes hair from the root, using a soft or hard wax.  A thin layer of wax is spread over the skin, and a cloth strip is pressed on top and removed in a quick action against the direction of hair growth.  This method is used to shape eyebrows.  Waxing will delay hair growth for weeks and will also cause hair to grow in thinner.
